There are different policies for purchases, for in-store purchases and online purchases. The Ashley’s return policy are also different for certain product purchases like mattresses and foundations. You will be guided by all the processes in this article.
For online purchases:
For purchases that were received damaged by standard shipping delivery:
i) If you receive any products damaged during shipping that are delivered by UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, or you simply want to return an item with which you are not satisfied, call the customer care within 72 hours of the delivery of your item. ii) Once you raise your request for a return they will refund the amount of your purchase excluding the shipping and handling charges. If you have any other concerns regarding your item, consult the customer service within 30 days of your purchase. Once they get in touch with you and will either repair or replace your item. If you are still not satisfied with the item, you can always raise a request for a return within 30 days. For standard delivery, if any defects are discovered consult the manufacturer’s warranty. In many cases, Ashley’s furniture provides replacements and services as and when required. Note: Shipping charges are not refunded.
For purchases that were received damaged by home delivery:
For any damaged product or dissatisfaction with the item, you can always call their customer care from Monday-Friday(7.00 am to 7.00 PM) and on Saturdays(7.00 AM to 5.30 PM). The number would be given in your order confirmation email. Once they get in touch with you, they will immediately dispatch for your item’s repair/replacement/other services or pick up the product for you to return. Items that you have ordered for online home delivery, if discovered damaged will be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty if you raise a request within 72 hours.
For in-store purchases
When you buy anything physically from the store, make sure to carefully check the terms and conditions provided to you at the back of the receipt. Every store at different locations has its own returns/replacements policies as they are all operated independently. Contact the store from which you have purchased your product. The contact number is provided at the back of your receipt. So, in any case, don’t lose the receipt as it will have all the details such as the terms and conditions and also whom to contact. You can also visit their website to look for the store locator. You need to make sure that you contact them within 72 hours from the time your item was delivered.
Return policies for mattresses and foundations:
While you can return anything if you are dissatisfied with the product, but you cannot return mattresses or foundations unless they were damaged when delivered or discovered defective. Again, you will have to contact them within 72 hours from the time your product was delivered. If defects are discovered after more than 72 hours, the store might consider covering that from the manufacturer’s warranty. Now that you know the process of returning your items let us guide you through certain terms and conditions before you raise a return request. i) The items that you want to return or replace should be in new/unused condition. ii) The items should be returned with all the accessories provided with them in proper original packaging. No packages should be damaged unless it was a part of the in-home delivery. In such cases, re-pack the items to avoid any damage further. iii)Items bought in the clearance sale are non-refunded and non-returnable. iv) You need to contact customer care within 72 hours from the time you have received your product. Note: Shipping charges may be applied for returning products in certain cases.
Exchange and Refunds on Ashley’s return policy:
Once your item is returned, it will be examined thoroughly. According to that examination, an appropriate exchange/refund is issued against your request. Refunds and credits are initiated based on the payment method you used at the time of purchase. Keep patience and wait for 7-10 business days to get back your refund on your card. Note: Taxes are refunded following the state laws. Shipping charges are not refunded. Shipping charges might be applied for the return of your products.
Assembling everything:
i) You need to raise a return/replacement request within 72hours of the time your item was delivered. 2) You can still raise a return request even after the exchange process within 30 days of your purchase if you are not satisfied with the product. 3) The packing of the items should be intact to return the items along with the accessories. In case it is an in-home delivery, make sure to pack the items to avoid any further damages. 4) The items should be new/unused in condition.
