Give your out of towner friends something to see

When: Saturday May 19th, 8 A.M. – 1 P.M. Where: Golden Gate Park and elsewhere in SF Why: It’s Bay to Breakers, y’all! Challenge that new-to-SF transplant friend who scoffs that he’s seen it all, because he hasn’t been to Bay to Breakers and doesn’t know what a naked man in a tutu looks like. Or maybe he does. There’s only one way to find out, eh? Food and a Michael Jackson tribute band will all be part of the post-marathon festivities.

We love you very matcha

When: Sunday, May 20th, 11 A.M. – 5 P.M. Where: Spark Social SF Why: Hold your horses, matcha lovers, ‘cause Spark Social is about to make you very, very happy. Or, as they say, it’s time to par-tea! Feast on matcha cookies, ice cream, cream puffs, waffles, doughnuts and more. Additional savory food trucks will be present to make even more of your dreams come true, and your Instagram followers will be green with envy! // 601 Mission Bay Boulevard North, China Basin, tickets are $6.50.

Get cultured in Jack London Square
