So who are our makers? Let us introduce you:

Alice received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from California College of the Arts (2012) in Textiles. She has traveled from Japan to Australia, learning about different textile techniques and has had the opportunity to work with a variety of different fabrics and fibers. Alice currently lives in the Bay Area, working in her studio, surfing, and eating Justin’s peanut butter cups. // alicewiese.com Founded in 2014, Blume Studio Jewelry searches for the melding of material and form, both tactile and conceptual. A continual dialogue between mind and matter, exploring dimension through new ideas and processes. Their greatest joy is to design through making, simplifying and playing until elegant forms come to life. // jewelry.blumestudio.com Carole Neilson is based in San Francisco. She studied ceramics at the Academy of Art in Mol in Belgium, which provided her technical skills and understanding of materials. Her curiosity and her energy make her always-going forwards. She is always experimenting with new techniques and new forms. // caroleneilsonceramic.com Alana Rivera, founder, stumbled into the world of natural body care while working a job that left her feeling lost. At a time when she was unsure about what direction to take, she found brewing up apothecary products in her kitchen gave her purpose. Batch after batch, inspiration came from her other passion: food. Lavender shortbread became Lavender Soap. Coffee with fresh mint became Cold Brew Mint Coffee Scrub. Cardamom Old Fashioned became Grapefruit Cardamom Body Oil. And now, Etta + Billie is a namesake brand in San Francisco. // ettaandbillie.com HANNAH EMILE is an eponymous brand by Hannah Tatar.  Hailing from Cleveland (a secretly cool Midwestern city), she currently lives and works in San Francisco. HANNAH EMILE celebrates heartfelt, handmade goods that are meant to be used and loved. // hannahemile.com Isabella Sevv is a lover of natural materials. This has translated into a career pursuit involving floral design, woodworking and gardening. Born and raised in California, her work is inspired by the movement of the Pacific Ocean waves, the beauty and vulnerability found in the Redwood forests near her home in Marin, and the expansive color palette living in the desert. Isabella designs most frequently with dried goods. Foraging and drying as much of her own material as possible, she creates both small and large scale floral installs that often incorporate her woodworking skills. // isabellasevv.com Nipomo was born to celebrate the local craft and traditions of Mexico and California. Born on the border of California and Mexico, the mother daughter duo were raised at a cultural crossroads. Elizabeth and Liz collaborate with skilled artisans from their home country of Mexico. Designing a modern product with traditional methods of making allows them to create unique products while preserving a slice of history, art, and craft. // nipomo.co It was here, in the Greek Cyclades, that Athena Hewett first experienced the power of aromatherapy and natural skincare. Her grandmother pressed oil from their own grove and mixed sage, chamomile, and rosemary into tonics to purify and heal her skin. // monasterymade.com Designed and founded by Yina Kim, Moon & Book focuses on workwear for the modern woman. Starting with minimal aprons—this will be Moon & Boon’s first San Francisco show. Come and meet the designer herself as she’s our partner-in-crime launching this store. // instagram.com/moonandboon Shaine is an Outer Sunset artist and textile designer making various water-marbled wallets, prints, and so much more. // shaine-drake.com Western Editions is Erin Fong and Taylor Reid, two friends who met while living in San Francisco’s Western Addition (…get it?) and have relocated across the Bay to an artist co-operative in sunny Emeryville, California. Both Erin and Taylor have been printing since 2007 with a background ranging from commercial letterpress printshops to fine art letterpress and book arts. The stars aligned and they both landed in San Francisco at the same time, where they met and figured out…wait for it…that they had both learned letterpress in the same dusty old library at the University of Nevada, Reno! Though at different times, Erin and Taylor both fell in love with letterpress in the same room, on the same machine! // westerneditions.com
