With the Giants out of the running for the World Series, and the Niners predictably awful, Bay Area sports fans are once again turning their attention to the record-setting Warriors. And sadly, it didn’t go well last night. Hailing their opening season game with big hooray from fans, the Warriors underestimated the San Antonio with a “semi-close” 129-100 game. And for those who weren’t there, seats in the nosebleedsare going for $114 on StubHub, and a standing room only ticket willcost you close to $99. This being both the opening night game and thefirst game for Kevin Durant as a Warrior, however, those prices seemunderstandable. After the team’s killer season last year, a lot of pressure is on the team to do even better this time around. Fans voicing their opinions over Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, “saucy_prince: How tf we lose the first game Yo! 😒” while others defended Durant’s first game shakes, “fuglyfuck: Takes time to Adjust. Wouldn’t be a bad idea to start McGee. He’s got length && we need rebounds.” Currently, fans are counting on a miracle season with Durant and this fan below seems less than enthused… Does he not entertain you?
