The fair will, again, feature a bevy of rescues and shelter from around California and beyond, numbering seventy strong this year. Of the estimated 50,000 attendees, roughly 1,500 will go home with a new pet—leash, food, paperwork and all. Admission and parking are free (what a blessing), and, of course, you can bring any leashed household pets who already call your place of living home. Food and drinks, activities for people and pets, giveaways, samples and take-home goodies will all be on deck as well. 4,760 pets have been adopted at the fair since Pet Food Express began hosting it. For every animal adopted at the fair, Pet Food Express donates an additional $50 to the rescue organization it came from!
